"Stella Veris (Simone Special)” - SHAWL

This is a one-of-a-kind shawl, made on the same warp as the blanket I made for my sister’s daughter Simone. The colors were chosen from the thought of her arrival - and it felt like green, lilac, brown, blue and a little pink. “Veris” means spring in latin, and “stella” means star. A new life, a spring star.

150×67 cm (including fringe, ordinary short-ended)

Handwoven scarf in tabby/plaid cord technique. Made of wool (Swedish wool, mohair, alpaca), silk and a small dose of polyamid.

Washing: machine wash cold or on a “wool” setting. Can also be hand washed cold/luke warm. Avoid tumble drying - this will felt the scarf. Dry lying flat, preferably on a towel. Can be pressed with a regular steam iron and brushed to regain fuzziness.
