Fuzzy winter wool shawls round 7:

- the double fringe collection
"Aurora Lunae” - SHAWL
187×54 cm (including fringe)
“Aurora” is the latin word for dawn, but also used to describe the Northern lights, “Aurora Borealis”. “Lunae” is the latin word for moon. In “Aurora Lunae” I’m thinking of the special feeling an early spring morning can have - it’s still crisp and a little cool out, the sky a very certain, intense shade of blue-violet, and the moon still visible.
Handwoven scarf in tabby/plaid cord technique. Made of wool (Swedish wool, mohair, alpaca), silk and a small dose of polyamid.
Washing: machine wash cold or on a “wool” setting. Can also be hand washed cold/luke warm. Avoid tumble drying - this will felt the scarf. Dry lying flat, preferably on a towel. Can be pressed with a regular steam iron and brushed to regain fuzziness.
Please note: This is a hand made item and small imperfections might occur. All sales are final.
