Fuzzy winter wool shawls round 6: The Technicolor Christmas collection

"Forester's Sweetheart"

This is the fifth shawl of the warp - and this one’s a real darling. A beautiful, rich forest green mixed with warm red and orange tones that makes me think of a love story between a Christmas tree salesman from the countryside and a city girl who meet one snowy day at the city square, wearing plaid (yes I’m a romantic!). Repeated cord stripes in brown and green/aqua.

155x47 cm (including fringe)

Handwoven scarf in tabby/plaid cord technique. Made of wool (Swedish wool, mohair, alpaca), silk and a small dose of polyamid.

Washing: machine wash cold or on a “wool” setting. Can also be hand washed cold/luke warm. Avoid tumble drying - this will felt the scarf. Dry lying flat, preferably on a towel. Can be pressed with a regular steam iron and brushed to regain fuzziness.
