"Anemone Nemorosa” - SHAWL

Anemone Nemorosa is the latin name for one of the first and most Swedish spring blooms - “Vitsippa”. It’s a star-like anemone, with white-and-blush colored petals, small bright yellow pistils, on pink/purple stems and dark green leaves. It has something magical about it to me - every time I see them I have to stop and admire their delicate yet shining appearance.

Handwoven scarf in tabby/plaid cord technique. Made of wool (Swedish wool, mohair, alpaca), silk and a small dose of polyamid.

Washing: machine wash cold or on a “wool” setting. Can also be hand washed cold/luke warm. Avoid tumble drying - this will felt the scarf. Dry lying flat, preferably on a towel. Can be pressed with a regular steam iron and brushed to regain fuzziness.
