Primula - the latin word for “first” also names the family of flowers that includes Primroses and Cowslips. Iris - the latin word for “rainbow” and the goddess of rainbows in Greek mythology, is also the name of a vibrant, mesmerizing spring bloom and the word we use to describe the part of our eyes that show color.

Handwoven scarf in tabby/plaid cord technique. Made of wool (Swedish wool, mohair, alpaca), silk and a small dose of polyamid.

Washing: machine wash cold or on a “wool” setting. Can also be hand washed cold/luke warm. Avoid tumble drying - this will felt the scarf. Dry lying flat, preferably on a towel. Can be pressed with a regular steam iron and brushed to regain fuzziness.
