Handwoven shawl in plaid cord inspired by 50s beatnik looks and home ware textiles of the time, combined with one of my favorite movies, “Cry-baby” by John Waters.

Main colors: Lipstick red, greyish black, snow white, soft yellow, pale turquoise, teal blue, baby pink, traffic lights yellow, blue-and-red-purple

Warp: Järbo "Swedish wool" + Rauma fine wool + Wool bouclé

Weft:  Järbo "Swedish Wool" + Rauma fine wool + Wool bouclé +  Järbo "Mohair Silk" 

Size: 201 cm long + fringes, 65 cm wide 

Wash: hand wash gently or in a machine wool program. Hang to drip dry or on a flat surface. Light steam iron can be used to smoothen it after wash, preferably followed by a soft brushing to regain fuzziness and softness.
